Home

This has been our home for the past few days. Endless quietude, a noiseless existence with so many sounds. The waking hour when the birds start to sing, but nothing more tranquil and more lovely than the sound of the endless ocean, the shores tasting the cool and soft strip of land. The sand that kisses the earth. I lie awake, so naturally, wondering curiously when I ever did fall fast asleep. The transition between states of consciousness so blurry, it seems they never crossed at all. They were one and the same. This is the oneness, the connectedness, the eternalness that is a truth only revealed in and by nature.
